The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Nene Leakes has a new man in her life.
Leakes, 58, was spotted kissing her new boyfriend at the Memphis Grizzlies basketball game against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, February 25, according to photos obtained by TMZ.
Leakes was seen holding onto her beau while they watched the game before he gave her a smooch as they left the arena.
The former Bravo star, who has not further commented on her new romance or the identity of her boyfriend, recently started dating again after the 2021 death of husband Gregg Leakes.
NeNe Leakes Shares Glimpse Into Dating After Husband Gregg’s Death
“The dating pool actually has changed over the years,” NeNe exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2024. “My husband actually courted me. I don’t even think they use that word anymore. He actually picked me up with roses and chocolate and I thought it was corny at the time. But I still learned honey, that was the right way to go.”
NeNe met Gregg in 1996, one year before they got married. The pair, who shared 27-year-old son Brentt, were together for nearly 25 years before Gregg’s death. He died in September 2021 after battling stage III colon cancer.
“The Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes,” a rep for NeNe’s family said in a statement at the time. “We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time.”
In the years since Gregg’s death, NeNe started putting herself out there again.

“Everything is kind of really fast,” she told Us in 2024. “You have dating apps and all of this stuff. Back in the day, you go out and you meet someone. It’s not like that anymore. I have kind of dated just one guy off and on and he’s a nice guy.”
Without naming her on-off boyfriend at the time, NeNe teased that she liked her partner and thought he was “attractive.”
“I don’t know what the future holds,” she said, also revealing her dating must-haves. “I like a guy that likes to travel, likes to cuddle [and] likes to go on dates. I like to go on a date every week. Take me to a nice restaurant every week. My favorite thing to do is to get dressed up and go to a dinner date.”
NeNe, who called herself a “hopeless romantic” while speaking with Us, briefly dated Nyonisela Sioh in 2022.
“I can’t say he hasn’t helped me put a smile on my face,” she told Extra at the time. “You have to be willing to be happy and you have to make a lot of changes within yourself.”

NeNe was introduced to Sioh through former RHOA costar Cynthia Bailey amid his divorce from Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh. NeNe later denied any relationship overlap.
“I’m already out here a husband stealer and this is too much,” she said in a June 2022 social media video, refuting the accusations. “And ain’t nobody out here stealing husbands. Are they? I would never. Nobody want to steal nobody else’s problems, honey.”
NeNe and Sioh broke up nearly one year later.
“We’ve been taking a break,” NeNe said on the “Reality With the King” podcast in July 2023. “It’s just not working at the moment. He is single so if any of the ladies out there want to holla at him, go right ahead.”
