Paige DeSorbo is getting candid about a chronic health battle she faces.

“I also get so many UTIs, like chronic UTIs, so if I ever slept with someone and got a UTI, I was like, ‘I’m sorry, we’re not compatible,’” DeSorbo, 33, said on the Sunday, February 22, episode of the “Broad Ideas” podcast, referring to urinary tract infections.

The Summer House alum shared that she’s trying a new approach to hopefully reduce the number of UTIs she gets.

“My most recent thing that I have been doing is I take a cranberry supplement twice a day and then I take an oregano supplement. And I’m usually on a pretty — like, every four months I’ll get one. February I should get one but I haven’t yet,” DeSorbo said. “I don’t want to jinx it but also like, I’m trying this new regimen out.”

As “Broad Ideas” cohost Olivia Allen admitted she faced a similar UTI battle, DeSorbo went on to note that UTIs “need a cure.” (A UTI is an infection in part of the urinary system, with healthcare professionals often treating it with antibiotics.)

“And then I’ll have girls that DM me that have never had a UTI before in their lives and they’ll be like, ‘Is this just a normal thing that you’re walking around with during the day?’ And I’m like, ‘They are so debilitating,’” she said. “In college, I used to be able to go to class, go to do whatever. As I got older, they would truly debilitate [me]. I wouldn’t be able to move off of the toilet literally, I’d have to pee every four seconds.”

DeSorbo noted that having UTIs doesn’t necessarily correlate to her romantic partners, adding that it “most likely isn’t” related. Cohost Rachel Bilson, meanwhile, quipped, “That’s interesting, because I was like, ‘Maybe you are allergic to certain d***s.’ Which also is a thing.”

DeSorbo has been open about her health through the years, sharing that she decided to freeze her eggs following her split from Southern Charm’s Craig Conover. (DeSorbo announced that she and Conover, 37, went their separate ways in 2024 after three years of dating.)

“I froze my eggs this year,” DeSorbo shared on the Sunday episode. “I’m a big proponent of freezing your eggs. I just feel like — even if it doesn’t work or something happens, it did give me a peace of mind immediately when I went and did it.”

She continued, “When I went to freeze my eggs, one of the whole spiels that they tell you is they can see exactly when you were the most fertile. And I think it’s like you’re 21, 21 to 25 or something. I’m like, ‘Why wouldn’t anyone say, ‘Hey, freeze your eggs now and then you don’t have to think about it for 15 years?’”

DeSorbo previously shared in 2025 that she decided to freeze her eggs and had been wanting to do it since the year prior.

“I was like, ‘OK, 2025, I’m freezing my eggs,’ and I had it on my list because … I’m just going to, like, chill the month of January and I have a list of things I wanted to get done in the month of January,” she explained during an episode of her and Hannah Berner’s “Giggly Squad” podcast at the time.
