A Brewer man allegedly assaulted a family member Wednesday.
Clint Britton, 43, has been charged with domestic violence assault, according to the Brewer Police Department.
Britton allegedly assaulted a family member Wednesday, and after police spoke with him over the phone, Britton surrendered to officers outside his home.
He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor, where he remained midday Thursday, according to the jail’s website.
