Several Bravo stars have weighed in on Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl halftime performance, and some of their comments were less than enthusiastic.
Former Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin faced widespread backlash after she slammed the performance — which took place as the Seattle Seahawks dominated the New England Patriots during Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California — in an Instagram video on Sunday, February 8.
“It was the worst halftime show ever,” she said in the since-deleted clip, which was later reposted by other social media users. “I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish, and, quite frankly … grabbing his G [groin] area … I think it was totally inappropriate. You’ve got all these young kids watching the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds because he’s so insecure. Seriously.”

She went on to complain about not being able to understand Bad Bunny because he was singing in Spanish and even criticized special guest Lady Gaga. Jill’s daughter, Ally Shapiro, clarified that she did not agree with her mother in a separate social media post, and New York City’s Zarin Fabrics also spoke out against the Bravo alum.
Jill was later fired from the upcoming E! docuseries The Golden Life — set to star several RHONY alums — after her comments.
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life,” a statement shared with Us Weekly read on Tuesday, February 10. “We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and value.”

Bethenny and Jill’s ‘RHONY’ Podcast Reunion Is as Chaotic as Ever
Jill Zarin
Jill’s rant continued with her sharing more her thoughts on the performance.
“I don’t speak Spanish. I would’ve liked to have known the words he was saying. To me, it looked like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the entire thing. I’m not taking a side, one way or the other,” she added. “I think it was an ICE thing. I think that the NFL sold out, and it’s very sad.”
Taylor Armstrong
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also had some thoughts. She posted a photo of Russell Crowe in Gladiator, replacing his head with her own.
“Were you entertained? I am embarrassed for the NFL and Apple for the Super Bowl halftime show totally in Spanish with a Cuban flag!!” she wrote. (Bad Bunny’s halftime show paid tribute to Puerto Rico, which is a U.S. territory.)
Luann de Lesseps
The RHONY alum appeared to agree with Bad Bunny’s halftime show message. She shared a photo of the Levi’s Stadium jumbotron that read, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.” Luann wrote, “Choose Love,” as her caption.
Several Bravo stars — including The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks and The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice — left heart emojis on the post.
Bethenny Frankel
As Jill deleted her rant, former BFF Bethenny shared a message of support for Bad Bunny, calling the musician “an artist expressing himself, his music and his experience as a Puerto Rican man in America.”
“Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican man in America on the largest stage in the world, which is very inspirational to people because that is him expressing his experience in his first language,” she said in a TikTok video. “Madonna said it best: Express yourself.”

Dorinda Medley
Dorinda said she was “horrified” by Jill’s opinion on the “Reality Checked” podcast after Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
“I don’t need to tell you her opinion but I disagree with absolutely everything she said. I don’t think you can walk away from what we had the luxury of witnessing yesterday,” the RHONY alum said. “The effect that it had on so many people.”
Dorinda continued, “Especially people that are frightened right now, that are faltered. He created hope, and I felt sentimental about that Super Bowl halftime [show].”
Joe Giudice
The RHONJ alum, who was deported in 2019 after a stint in prison, wondered “what the hell’s going on over there in America” after seeing Bad Bunny’s “stupid” halftime performance.
“S***’s gotta stop. This BS has got to stop,” he said in a social media video. “This woke-ass crap. What the hell is going on over there, man? People need to go get your damn brains washed or something.”
