The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a yellow cold health alert for England.
The alert for much of north and central England runs from 6am on 13 February until 8am on 16 February.
The alert means the forecast weather is likely to have minor impacts on health and social care services. This includes increased use of healthcare services by vulnerable people, with a greater risk to life for vulnerable people, the UKHSA has said.
