Ariana Grande has weighed in after her Vogue Japan cover story featured a little something extra.

Grande, 32, shared footage of her Vogue photoshoot via Instagram on Sunday, January 25, where she wore a floral button-down dress with sheer gloves as she posed against a green backdrop.

Fans, however, were quick to note that Grande appeared to have a sixth finger on one of her hands.

“Who’s responsible for giving Ariana 6 fingers,” one fan wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 29, with another adding, “I’m so confused like how did this even happen?”

Ariana Grande Addresses ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour’ Resale Ticket Drama

While Vogue has not addressed the apparent editing snafu, Grande was surprised by the mistake.

“Holy s***,” Grande wrote via Instagram comment on the fan’s upload. “Oh my goodness, how exciting! I’ve been saying I need some extra appendages so that I can start an album! Thankful for this.”

Grande announced in August 2025 that she was going on her first live tour in seven years to perform songs from 2024’s Eternal Sunshine.

“I think it is very different in a lot of ways,” the Wicked star said on the “Zach Sang Show” in 2024. “It’s also touching on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, so it’s kind of a concept album, which I also haven’t done before. That’s also kind of why I don’t want to put out a second single before the album because I would like for it to be heard in one piece.”

Tickets for Grande’s The Eternal Sunshine Tour went on sale in September 2025 but quickly sold out after fans waited in overwhelmingly long Ticketmaster queues. Resale sites subsequently increased the prices to a small fortune.

“Hi my angels, I have been on set all week, but I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with the secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention,” Grande said in a social media statement. “Of course, I am incredibly bothered by it. I’ve been on the phone every second of my free time, fighting for a solution.”

She added, “I hear you and, hopefully, we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs. It’s not right. I just wanted you to know that my team and I see it and that I care very much. We will do, and are doing, everything we can.”

Ariana Grande Sings About ‘Mean Fans,’ ‘Fake’ Rumors on Charli XCX Remix

Ticketmaster revealed earlier this month that they canceled “a small portion of tickets” that violated purchasing terms.

“Our focus is ensuring those tickets are reissued directly to fans,” a statement shared via X on Wednesday, January 28, read. “Those tickets will be made available through a request process in February to help ensure tickets don’t go to bad actors.”

According to Ticketmaster, the reissued tickets would be distributed randomly and “prioritize fans who did nothing wrong but had resale tickets canceled.”

“You’ll be able to submit your request and if it can be fulfilled, your credit card will be automatically charged,” the X statement explained. “You’ll [then] get an email from Ticketmaster with further instructions.”
