Since The Cleaning Lady has come to an end on Fox, the show has made headlines after being named in the arrest warrant for executive producer and director Timothy Busfield — but where is the rest of the cast now?
Based on the 2017 Argentinian TV show La Chica Que Limpia, The Cleaning Lady premiered in 2022 and followed a former surgeon, Thony (Élodie Yung), who was in the U.S. on an expired visa. To help secure bone marrow treatment for her son (Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle and Khalen Roman Sanchez), who had a rare and life-threatening medical disorder, Thony made a living as a cleaning service worker — until she witnessed a murder and became a cleaning lady and doctor for the mob.
Warner Bros. Television Studios acquired the remake rights to the Spanish-language Argentine TV show La Chica Que Limpia in 2019 and Miranda Kwok brought on board to write and develop the series adaptation alongside fellow executive producers Melissa Carter and Shay Mitchell.
Once the show was picked up, Carter became the showrunner, but Kwok was promoted to the position in season 2. Fox brought Jeannine Renshaw as an executive producer and coshowrunner one season later, but neither Renshaw nor Kwok returned for season 4. The Cleaning Lady was then led by Daniel Cerone as the next executive producer and new showrunner, but it was ultimately not renewed.

In addition to showrunner changes, multiple character deaths affected the trajectory of the show as well. After it ended in 2024, The Cleaning Lady made headlines again two years later when Busfield was named in an arrest warrant after being accused of child sexual abuse by two minors he worked with on set. The actor, who is married to Melissa Gilbert, was not immediately arrested and claimed in an investigation interview cited in the arrest warrant that it was “highly unlikely” he had physical contact with the accusers.
Busfield turned himself in to the authorities in January 2026 and continued to maintain his innocence. None of the stars from the show spoke out about the scandal yet. Keep scrolling to see where the former stars of The Cleaning Lady are now:
Élodie Yung
After playing Thony in the Fox series, Yung booked a role in Worth the Wait. She previously appeared on the small screen in Love, Death & Robots, Daredevil, The Defenders and French programs such as Les Bleus and La vie devant nous.
Adan Canto
Canto, who portrayed Arman, was on Designated Survivor, Second Chance, Blood & Oil and The Following before The Cleaning Lady. He died of appendiceal cancer in January 2024.
Oliver Hudson
Hudson’s character Garrett was killed off the show in season 2, which came as a shock to the fans. He has since been in And Just Like That…, Unprisoned, Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Little Holiday Competition and The Three of Us. On the big screen, Hudson has starred in Happy Gilmore 2 and A Merry Little Ex-Mas.
Sebastien LaSalle
Sebastien and Valentino played Thony’s son, Luca, in the first three seasons before being recast with Khalen Roman Sanchez.
Valentino LaSalle
Just like his brother, Valentino hasn’t appeared in new projects since their time on Fox’s The Cleaning Lady.

Eva De Dominici
De Dominici joined The Cleaning Lady in season 1 before being promoted later on. She has since appeared on The Uninvited, Forge, Homo Argentum and Balls Up.
Naveen Andrews
After joining in season 2, Andrews booked roles on Last King of the Cross and The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh. Andrews has also appeared on the big screen in the 2025 film Last Days.
Kate del Castillo
Del Castillo has been in Trap House, The Biggest Fan and A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow after The Cleaning Lady.
Santiago Cabrera
Cabrera has had a lead role on Land of Women since The Cleaning Lady.
