Whatever happened to “Love thy neighbor?” This administration has decided to use their leader’s natural inclination to bully and turned bullying into foreign policy.

Sure, Nicolas Maduro was a self-serving leader of questionable quality, but ousting him from power is up to the people of Venezuela. Greenland is part of Denmark, which is an ally of the U.S., but apparently these bullies, with no respect for friends, have never heard the childhood phrase, “Pick on somebody your own size.”

Why hasn’t the administration sent the military in to remove Vladimir Putin or Xi Jin Ping? They pose more risk to our security than Venezuela or Greenland.

It is embarrassing to watch a band of bullies tear down our beloved democracy and turn us from the world’s peacemaker to the world’s warmonger. Three-year-olds, before they become socialized and civilized, say, “I see that, I want that.” It is sad and ironic that in the year of our 250th anniversary as the premiere democratic country in the world, we are behaving like a greedy, lawless three-year-old.
