Alix Earle is giving an update on her mom’s health after a recent surgery.
Earle, 25, shared in a Wednesday, January 7, TikTok that she was in New Jersey after a two-day trip across the globe and was heading to the hospital to be with her mom following an “operation.”
“I’m going to go see her, and I may or may not talk more about this this week. I just want to see how everything goes, and first of all, just be there for her,” she said. “It was also something that, I mean, during my travels I had a few cries.”
She continued, “But her boyfriend and my sister have been with her this morning. So we are going to pick her up tomorrow morning from the hospital because we are going to be taking care of her.”

Earle’s update comes weeks after she shared that she and her sister Ashtin had spent the day after Christmas with their mom in the hospital to meet with doctors. The influencer explained that her mom is “going through something right now with her health.”
“That day was a little hard for me,” Earle continued in her December 2025 TikTok, explaining that she would be back home when her mom eventually got surgery. “This was also something we found out about while I was on Dancing With the Stars, so that was just another one of the things I was dealing with.”
Earle previously admitted in a November 2025 TikTok that “a lot that happened in my personal life” throughout her time on DWTS season 34 that “I am happy — I think — that I didn’t share for television.” (Earle and partner Val Chmerkovskiy came in second place behind wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and pro Witney Carson.)
After Earle appeared on the reality dance competition, Us Weekly confirmed that she and NFL star Braxton Berrios had split after two years of dating.

“Majority of their relationship was long-distance and it was hard for them to navigate,” an insider told Us in December 2025. “They mutually agreed on the split.”
Later that month, Earle broke her silence on the split in an emotional video.
“Braxton and I are no longer together. We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t got to see each other that often,” Earle said at the time. “It’s just been really difficult for me. I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place.”
She continued, “A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now. I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs. I want him to have someone who can be there for him 24/7 and support him. He wasn’t really expecting that of me … I constantly felt guilty.”
While ringing in the new year in St. Bart’s, Earle was spotted with Tom Brady. In a video obtained by TMZ, the influencer was seen whispering in the athlete’s ear.
“Alix and Tom were together the entire night on New Year’s Eve partying at a party hosted by Palm Tree Crew in St. Bart’s,” a source exclusively told Us earlier this month. “They met through mutual friends who were also in St. Bart’s and had an instant connection. There was a lot of chemistry between them.”
While Earle was “really into hanging out” with Brady, 48, the insider said she isn’t interested in being in a relationship at the moment.
“It’s nothing serious between her and Tom,” the source shared. “They were together laughing, dancing and partying, enjoying themselves.”
