Emma Stone made jaws drop on the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet.
Stone, 37, slayed the Beverly Hilton red carpet on Sunday, January 11, sporting a custom butter-yellow Louis Vuitton cropped top with coordinating sequined skirt.
For glam, the Oscar winner wore a full beat and her signature auburn tresses in a chic bob — but the true standout of her look was her well-toned ab muscles peeking out from the bottom of her structured top.
“She looks soooooooo good,” one social media user marveled via Instagram of Stone’s ensemble, with another adding, “So lovely and modern 😍 and look at those abs! 👏🏻.”

Stone was nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy category for her role in Bugonia against the likes of Rose Byrne, Cynthia Erivo, Kate Hudson, Chase Infiniti and Amanda Seyfried. Byrne, 46, ultimately took home the trophy. Bugonia was also up for two other trophies on Sunday night.
As the Golden Globes roll on, many fans like Us will be left wondering how exactly Stone got such killer ab muscles. Luckily, the actress has long been candid about her ever-relatable approach to working out.
“Running is bad for your knees and I like to do things I actually enjoy, like going for a swim,” Stone previously told England’s S Magazine in a 2012 profile. “I had a trainer during [The Amazing] Spider-Man and I discovered I have deep-seated rage when I’m holding heavy weights over my head.”
She continued, “Whatever dormant anger I have in me, that’s where it comes out. That’s not the kind of working out I want to do. I would much rather sleep at night than want to throw a weight across a room at someone. I’m usually a pretty peaceful person, but for some reason when I get in the gym something bubbles up in me.”

Nearly five years later, Stone overhauled her workout routine further in order to play tennis legend Billie Jean King in Battle of the Sexes.
“Halfway through La La Land, she got a phone call about the Billie Jean King movie, and she told me that she thought she was going to take it,” Stone’s trainer, Jason Walsh, told Elle in 2017. “We sat down and tried to decide the game plan for the end results she needed. We were shooting for putting 10 pounds on her because she needed to look and feel athletic. She needed to be resilient enough to handle the amount of tennis she was going to have to start playing and to also look the part.”

Walsh further revealed that Stone was committed to training “five days a week” and tweaked her diet.
“She ate very well, and very clean, so it wasn’t like she was getting garbage calories in. We added a high-calorie shake twice a day,” Walsh added. “[Increasing workout] volume is great, but if you’re not feeding the body and creating the environment for the body to grow or respond well, you’ll break.”
