Thomas Saviello was selected Maine County Commissioner of December in honor of his community service by Spirit of America Foundation’s Maine Chapter.
Saviello currently serves as a commissioner of Franklin County. Prior to that he served eight years in the Maine House and eight years in the Maine Senate.
Saviello has served as a Wilton selectperson, with the fire department, as a hospice volunteer, been an active member of Wilton Lions, Rotary, Mill Stream Grange, Masons, school board and Stop NECEC. He also has spoken at many Spirit of America ceremonies and done even more to help the cause of volunteerism over the years.
Maine Spirit of America is a chapter of Spirit of America Foundation, an organization promoting community service.
