Mormon Wives star Layla Taylor and her ex-husband, Clayton Wessell, have finalized their divorce — and Us Weekly has all the exclusive details on child support, custody and restrictions on drinking around their kids.
The judgment was entered in Taylor and Wessel’s divorce on May 28. (Per Utah court records, Taylor initially filed for divorce on January 5, 2024. The court dismissed the case in March. She refiled on February 20.)
Per the order, the exes will share joint legal and physical custody of their two kids, Oliver “Ollie” Clay, born in 2021, and Maxwell Dean, born in 2022.
“The parents shall exercise parent-time as they agree consistent with the rebuttable presumption that it is in the best interest of children to have frequent, meaningful and continuing access to both parents,” the court order read in part.

The order listed Taylor as working in social media marketing, listing that her income was at least $5,000 per month. Wessel’s occupation was listed as a salesperson earning around $10,000 per month, per the filing.
The judgment said Taylor was awarded $832 per month in child support. The exes will split any extracurricular activity expenses related to their children.
Neither party was awarded alimony, per the court documents. Wessell did walk away with a 2022 Hyundai Elantra, while the pair each kept their own bank and retirement accounts.
The exes were ordered not to disparage each other in text or emails or in front of their kids. The paperwork also stated that they are to not “harass, stalk, threaten or abuse the other parent or any other family member or third party associated with the other parent, or allow a third party to do the same.”
The order also included drug and alcohol restraints.
Taylor and Wessel are prohibited from “using illegal drugs or drugs that have not been legally prescribed to them and shall not exceed the dosage on any prescription medication.”
The order read, “They shall be also restrained from consuming alcohol while the children are in their care and from allowing the children to be in the presence of any other person who the parties suspect or have reason to suspect may be under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or non-prescribed drugs.”

The exes are both allowed to attend and volunteer at their children’s school events.
In September 2024, Layla spoke to Us about the challenges of coparenting following her split from Wessell.
“Hopefully we can get to a more peaceful place,” she told Us. “I think with him, there comes jealousy, and he found out about my boyfriend. So hopefully one day I’m praying that we can get to a point that we’re a lot more cordial.”

At the time, Layla told Us that she was taking it “day by day” with her ex. She said that she felt she had been given the label of “damaged goods” in her community following her divorce.
Despite the breakup, the Mormon Wives star also told Us she was open to getting married again in the future.
“I definitely see myself getting married again, but I do feel like I need to date around, I really need to discover who I am. I’m only 23. I’m very, very young,” she said. “And that’s very common in church and our culture to be married already by this age, but I really don’t want to do that this time. I want to do it the right way. So if that means I have 10 more boyfriends by the time I get married again, then so be it.”
