Kyle Richards’ sobriety journey is still going strong.
“I still have not had any alcohol now for three years and five months,” Kyle, 56, told Us Weekly exclusively ahead of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 premiere.
The episode, which aired on Thursday, December 4, showed Kyle holding a glass of what appeared to be champagne during her Summer Solstice party. She confirmed to Us that she was drinking French Bloom nonalcoholic champagne.
“That was the only thing I drank,” she told Us.

During the RHOBH party scene, which was filmed in Kyle’s backyard, costar Dorit Kemsley was quick to question what her friend was drinking upon arriving at the event.
“Wait a second, is that nonalcoholic champagne or are you finally coming to the dark side again?” Dorit, 49, asked.
“This is nonalcoholic champagne,” Kyle replied, holding her glass up. “But I can still go to the dark side. Don’t get it twisted.”
Kyle celebrated one year of sobriety in July 2023, revealing that alcohol was “no longer serving me” in a social media caption.
“I never put a time frame on when I would drink again or say IF I ever would,” she wrote at the time. “All I know is I have never felt better physically or been more clear mentally.”
Kyle and Dorit appeared to be in a cordial place during Thursday’s premiere, especially after their blowout fight last season.
“Dorit and I have had our ups and downs at times, but last year was a new low,” Kyle said during a confessional interview on Thursday. “I think until we spend more time with each other, it’s going to be a work in progress.”
The RHOBH season 15 trailer, which was released last month, teased another major fight between Kyle and Dorit this year. While details haven’t been shared just yet, it has been revealed that their blowout takes place during a cast trip to Italy — and Erika Jayne will also be involved.
“She’s not open-minded to listening to you, and when she has something in her head, that’s it,” Kyle explained to Us of Dorit earlier this week. “It’s really frustrating to try to have a conversation with her. Unfortunately, we tried to fix things, and it was like two steps forward, three steps back.”

She added, “I would love to say we’re in a better place now, but it got worse, and things came to blows in Italy when Erika was part of that too. That part’s been hard.”
The issues between the two women started after it was revealed during last season that Kyle still had a friendship with Dorit’s estranged husband, PK Kemsley.
Kyle confirmed during Thursday’s episode that she and PK no longer speak.
“[I have] not spoken to PK,” she confirmed to costar Sutton Stracke at a lunch during the premiere. Kyle also offered more details to Us, explaining that it was “a natural thing” that they stopped talking.
“Obviously, he saw the show and all that was going on,” she said.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 premieres Thursday, December 4, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
