Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes are keeping fans fed with behind the scenes glimpses of their upcoming movie trilogy, Happy Hours — and this time, they are giving a subtle nod to Taylor Swift.
Jackson, 47, and Holmes, 46, were all smiles as they filmed in New York City’s Greenwich Village on Wednesday, December 3. The scene took place just steps outside of Swift’s famed former townhouse on Cornelia Street, which she sings about on her Lover album.
In one photo, Jackson was spotted standing right outside the building while wearing an unbuttoned long-sleeve shirt and a messenger bag around his chest.
Holmes, meanwhile, appeared in a scene with Jackson sporting a long-sleeve button-down shirt and wearing her hair down in loose waves.

Holmes and Jackson reunited earlier this year to film Happy Hours, an upcoming trilogy that chronicles the stories of two people “navigating their relationship within the challenges of careers and family responsibilities and the pursuit of love, despite life’s inevitable obstacles,” per Deadline.
The outlet reported, “It’s a character-driven dramedy that explores the emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults, with the connective thread of shared joys, loss and hope.”
Happy Hours is also set to star Mary-Louise Parker, Constance Wu, Joe Tippett, John McGinty, Donald Webber Jr. and Nathan Darrow. Johnna Dias-Watson and Jack Martin are also portraying the younger versions of Holmes and Jackson’s characters.
Holmes and Jackson previously starred together on Dawson’s Creek from 1998 to 2003 as Pacey Witter and Joey Potter, respectively. The show centered around the lives of close-knit group of friends Pacey, Joey, Dawson Leery (James Van Der Beek), Jen Lindley (Michelle Williams) and more.

While the pair’s characters sparked an on-screen romance, off-screen Holmes and Jackson also dated during season 1 of the teen drama.
“I’m just going to say that I met somebody last year,” Holmes told Rolling Stone in 1998, addressing their rumored romance. “I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable that I will treasure it always.”
Holmes explained at the time that her relationship had ended but she was “best friends” with her ex. Without naming Jackson, Holmes teased, “He’s been in the business so long, and he’s really helped me.”
More than two decades later, Jackson shed insight into his relationship with Holmes — and their fellow costars — now.
“Busy [Philipps] and Michelle are very, very close and Katie and I are very close,” Jackson said on an April episode of the “Dinner’s on Me With Jesse Tyler Ferguson” podcast. “It’s not a daily call.”
He continued, “Sometimes it’s not a weekly or monthly or even a half-yearly call. But when you’re together, A) there’s always that, like, I know you know. And B), these moments, like, these major moments in life are, like, other than your husband, there’s probably no other people in your life that you are that forged to ‘cause you had to go through good and bad, and happy and ‘f*** you,’ and don’t talk to me and I love you. … But life happens.”
