OnlyFans stars entered the zeitgeist in 2025 more than any year before thanks, in large part, to the competitive sex trend.
The year kicked off with a bang when Bonnie Blue claimed to have broken a world record by sleeping with 1,057 men in 12 hours. In a January TikTok video, Blue (real name Tia Billinger) proudly held up a sign that read, “1,000.” Australian star Annie Knight and U.K.’s Lily Phillips also went on to try their hand at the trend, ultimately sleeping with 583 men in six hours and 1,113 in 12 hours, respectively.
As 2025 progressed, the adult creators also became transparent about their earnings and plastic surgery endeavors — while navigating a few feuds along the way.
“I definitely want to keep going for as long as possible. I just think, why not? I don’t think you could ever say no to making this amount of money,” Knight exclusively told Us Weekly in May about her career plans. “Obviously, I also enjoy it and it’s fun. I love my job. I wouldn’t want to do anything else.”

All the Competitive Sex
After Blue claimed to have earned a world record in January by sleeping with 1,057 people in 12 hours, Knight attempted to top the feat by having sex with 583 men in six hours. Days after the event, Knight — who suffers from endometriosis — shared that she had been admitted to the hospital. She later assured her fans she was on the mend.
“The prognosis is good, and it looks like I’m going to have to take a week off, try and relax a little bit, sit out in the sun, just take it easy for a little while,” Knight told Us in May. “But I’ll definitely be OK. I’m not letting this slow me down.”
The next month, Phillips claimed to have slept with 1,113 men in 12 hours — and described her experience via Instagram as a “conveyor belt.”
Through it all, experts cautioned about the physical and mental health risks associated with these trends. In New York and Washington D.C. psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert’s mind, these challenges can lead to feelings of emptiness.
“In the moment, [the creators] might feel like they’re really special. But after, I think, they probably feel worthless,” he told Us in July. “They’ve relied so heavily on this external approval, and when all that is gone, just feel really empty, confused about what their actual worth and value is.”
All the Money
After completing the competitive sex challenge, Knight did not shy away from revealing her financial earnings had “tripled” — and that she brought in a whopping $600,000 per month. (Knight later shared in August that her monthly earnings decreased to $450,000, something she expected due to the attention surrounding the event.)
With the transparency, experts wondered if the younger generation may eye the career as something financially lucrative. The Independent columnist Chloe Combi told Us in July that “at a time when there’s huge amounts of economic anxiety, particularly with young people … that kind of creates a perfect storm of this notion that it’s both easier — far easier than it is — and it’s normal and it very, very rarely talks about the consequences.”
It wasn’t just Knight who shared her financial earnings, but creators like Lil Tay, too. In August, Lil Tay alleged that she made more than $1 million on the content platform in one day.
“$1M in 3 hours 🤩We broke the f*** out of that onlyfans record 🥰🥰🥰,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Come see content I took of myself at 12:01AM on my 18th BDAY😳ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 24hrs.”
Later that month, creator Sophie Rain claimed on David Dobrik’s YouTube vlog to have made $82 million in the last year and a half. Dobrik proceeded to read more from Rain’s earnings report, which stated that she made $28,472 in an hour and raked in $3.4 million in earnings in July alone.
All the Plastic Surgery
In the spirit of candidness, stars like Phillips, Knight and creator Tiffany Wisconsin have all been open about their plastic surgery endeavors. In September, Phillips alleged that she spent $60,000 to undergo a labiaplasty, chin implant, liposuction and Brazilian Butt Lift. As for her next procedure, Phillips claimed in her YouTube video that she has the “longest toes” and wants them to be shortened.
“I know some people are going to think that’s really extreme,” she said, “but it’s just something I’ve always hated throughout my whole entire life. These feet have been the bane of my existence.”
The next month, Wisconsin received the Rib Sculpt Plus — which is a minimally invasive, scarless procedure utilizing ultrasound-guided tools to fracture and reposition up to 12 ribs with the goal of a narrower waistline.
“This isn’t like traditional rib removal,” Wisconsin exclusively told Us at the time. “It’s safer, scarless and the healing process is supported by a corset that acts like a cast. It’s the only way I could achieve this shape — and I’m obsessed with the results.”
Knight, for her part, pulled back the curtain in November on her $62,000 cosmetic journey — which included a breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, chin filler, invisalign and preventative Botox.
“It’s actually crazy,” she exclusively told Us at the time. “I can go out without makeup on now and just feel way more confident. I can easily just put on a light touch of makeup or a little bit of makeup and feel better. The shape of my face just feels so much more cohesive. It’s crazy that just these little, tiny changes — which, I mean, some people will say that they’re not tiny — but even my nose job, it just changed the entire structure of my face.”
She continued, “I look back at photos of me from like, two years ago, and I’m like, ‘What the hell?’ I look so different, but not different enough for it to not feel like I’m me. I feel more me now than I did two years ago.”
All the Stunts
There were, of course, several events that raised eyebrows in 2025. In June, Blue gained attention for her out-of-the-box event called the “petting zoo” — where she would be featured unclothed and tied to a glass box as she attempted to sleep with 2,000 men. The stunt ultimately played a role in Blue’s ban from OnlyFans.
When rumors circulated that Blue had been banned from the platform, a spokesperson for OnlyFans told Us that “extreme ‘challenge’ content is not available” and “is not permitted” under their acceptable use policy and terms of service. “Any breach of our Terms of Service results in content or account deactivation,” the spokesperson said.
Blue, for her part, felt that the decision was “clearly unfair” because she claimed to have been “singled out.” She added during an exclusive interview with Us in June, “It’s not because what I did was dangerous. I’ve been the only content creator that’s happily slept with the numbers I have and have walked away smiling each time.”
Wisconsin, meanwhile, had big plans for her content — which included wanting to film videos with a pastor and an Amish man, as well as “really old men.”
“I really want to find a guy who’s 90 and capable of doing stuff,” she exclusively told Us in June. “That’s one of my goals.”
All the Feuds
While some bonds between creators were formed in 2025, other friendships were broken. After Blue was banned from OnlyFans, she made a subtle dig at Knight’s hospitalization.
“That’s why I was banned, because I get more views,” Blue told Us in June. “The only difference is, I don’t cry and I don’t vlog hospital journeys. I just leave smiling.”
Knight, meanwhile, was not here for the comment — which also referenced Phillips getting emotional after having sex with 100 men in one day in December 2024. (Phillips explained at the time that she was crying because not all of her event participants had the experience.)
“I’ve worked with Bonnie several times and have run ideas by her in the past, so I was surprised to see her comments,” Knight told Us in a statement in July. “In an industry where women are constantly pinned against one another, I’ve always believed in backing other creators, even when I don’t agree with particular wording around how they frame their stunts.”
Later that year, Knight was involved in a separate feud with Rain about whether or not they have “morals.” The back-and-forth began when Rain made an appearance on the “Bangin Out” podcast in August and explained that she still has her “morals” compared to other creators in the competitive sex space. Knight later told Us in September that she was “really annoyed” by Rain’s comments.
“I post explicit content and I have morals, I believe in right and wrong, I believe in individuality and sexuality and everyone having a right to express themselves,” Knight said at the time. “I believe in being kind, considerate, understanding and non judgmental. These are strong morals. So I think her statement is false in every respect.”
In a separate statement, Rain went on to call Knight “irrelevant, delusional and projecting,” noting that “morals aren’t something you can photoshop.”
