Ben Bader’s cause of death at has been revealed in an autopsy and toxicology report.
The Miami-based influencer’s death was cause by coronary atherosclerosis due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed to Us Weekly on Friday, November 21. Bader’s manner of death was listed as natural.
“This 25 year-old male died from coronary atherosclerosis due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease,” the autopsy obtained by Us read. “No significant trauma was identified to the body upon postmortem examination. Toxicologic testing was negative for acute drug toxicity. Codeine was identified in the urine, but not blood. This suggests recent use, but it does not appear that codeine caused or contributed to death in any way. The manner of death is natural.”
The report concluded, “Since genetic factors were likely involved in the development of arteriosclerosis in this young adult, family members of the deceased are encouraged to seek follow-up through their primary care physician.”

Coronary atherosclerosis is also known as coronary artery disease (CAD), and it is caused by the buildup of fats, cholesterol and other substances in and on the walls of the heart arteries, according to Mayo Clinic. The buildup is called plaque which can block blood flow in the arteries. Plaque can also burst, which would cause a blood clot.
Bader died at age 25 on October 23.

At the time, his girlfriend, Reem, said his death was “extremely sudden.”
On October 28, a representative for the Jupiter Police Department in Florida confirmed to Us that Bader was discovered “unresponsive” by his fellow neighbors in the clubhouse of his residential complex.
The onlookers tried to save his life before authorities arrived. Bader was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
“On Thursday, October 23, the Jupiter Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive male inside the clubhouse at the Admiral’s Cove community in Jupiter, Florida,” the police spokesperson said.
“The individual located was identified as Mr. Ben Bader, a resident of the community. He was discovered by fellow residents and appeared not to be breathing,” they continued.

The spokesperson concluded, “Lifesaving measures were initiated prior to the arrival of first responders and continued by medical personnel. Mr. Bader was subsequently transported to a local hospital via ambulance, where he was pronounced deceased.”
At the time, the coroner’s office told Us that Bader’s cause of death was pending a toxicology report, and results could take at least 12 weeks.
In her tearful announcement, Bader’s girlfriend shared that they were supposed to meet up the night he died.

“There were really no signs of this happening — we were supposed to get dinner that night and he seemed so normal. I had just talked to him on FaceTime a couple hours before he passed and he was so happy and so normal and he was just smiling and being so funny,” Reem said in an emotional social media video.
Bader’s family called him a “visionary who led with love, lived with intention and turned his passions into helping others.”
“He made a profound impact on everyone who knew him through his wisdom, humor and compassion,” his loved ones told People. “Ben lived each day to the fullest, inspiring those around him to seek meaning, connection and purpose in their own lives.”
“Though our hearts are broken, we will carry on Ben’s legacy in everything we do,” they concluded. “We will keep his memory alive by leading with love, living with purpose and carrying forward his passions that made the world brighter.”
Following Bader’s death, two of his closest friends started a GoFundMe to raise money in his memory. Us was told the $100,000 would go toward a celebration of life in Miami for his friends to pay their respects, as well as help those Bader supported financially, his clipping campaign on Whop and other charitable funds he believed in.
