
BELFAST — Beloved local singer-songwriter Alice Limoges will perform at The Underground Lounge, 17 Court St. in Belfast, on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
Raised on the coast of Maine, Limoges has been performing and writing songs since she was a child. After several years working in New York City’s music scene, she returned to Maine in 2020, bringing with her a sound that blends folk, jazz and indie influences. Her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics have earned her comparisons to artists like Fiona Apple and Norah Jones.

The Underground Lounge is a volunteer-led DIY music series that offers an intimate setting for this homegrown artist’s return to Belfast. Set in the basement of the Basil Burwell theatre, the lounge boasts a coffeehouse atmosphere that provides a space for local and regional musicians to perform during the quieter winter months.
Admission is $10-$20 (cash only)at the door. Food and drink will be available by donation.
