Travis Kelce was feeling fiery on a record-setting — though ultimately disappointing — afternoon for the superstar tight end and the Kansas City Chiefs.
During the second quarter of the Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 16, Kelce, 36, was tackled to the ground by a group of four Broncos, including cornerback Ja’Quan McMillian, who rolled over Kelce’s head and gave him a small shove when the players reached their feet.
Kelce didn’t take kindly to McMillian’s aggressiveness, banging helmets with the smaller-in-stature Broncos player and trash talking him, before the two were pulled apart by teammates.
According to their respective team’s websites, Kelce is 6’5”, while McMillian is listed as 5’10”.

The heated interaction between the players stoked debate on social media, with some trolling Kelce for going after McMillian.
“Travis Kelce loves getting into the faces of guys way smaller than him,” one fan wrote via X on Sunday.
Another joked, “McMillian’s small ass had to tippy toe to talk to Kelce dawg 🤣🤣🤣🤣.”
“I have been saying this man has anger issues since the Super Bowl against the 49ers when he got in Coach Reid’s face,” another fan shared, referencing Kelce’s history of testy on-field encounters with Chiefs head coach, Andy Reid.
It was a historic day for Kelce, who set the Chiefs all-time touchdown receptions record with a 21-yard score from Patrick Mahomes in the fourth quarter.
After the game — which was seemingly not attended by Kelce’s fiancée Taylor Swift — the Chiefs star wasn’t in the mood to celebrate.
“If you’re going to ask me about the record, I could care less about that right now,” he told reporters in the locker room. Kelce then refused to speak to the media any further.
The Broncos defeated the Chiefs 22-19 on a game-winning 35-yard field goal by kicker Wil Lutz as time expired. The loss dropped Kansas City to 5-5, three games back of Denver in the loss column.
Kansas City currently sits on the outside of the AFC playoff picture.
It was a banner day for McMillian, who finished with two sacks, an interception and six tackles — five of them solo.
“I just do me,” McMillian told reporters after the game. “Keep working hard and go out there and do what I’m told to do. I never worry about the outside noise. Just go out there and compete the best I can.”

Things were not quite as rosy in the Chiefs locker room, with head coach Reid, 67, lauding the Broncos for their effort.
“Listen, Denver played a good game,” Reid told reporters. “They got us today. On our side, I’ve got to make sure that we don’t go three-and-out with those last couple offensive series. And then there were a variety of things that went on that we all contributed to. So, throughout both sides of the ball and special teams.”
He added, “There were some good things but when you’re playing a good football team, you got to cut back on your penalties, for sure. Too many there, and then some of the other mistakes that we had.”
Things don’t get easier from here for Kansas City, as they welcome the AFC South-leading Indianapolis Colts to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, November 23.
