One person was killed and several others injured in a crash involving two vehicles and a building Saturday afternoon in Lewiston.
The crash happened at about 1:10 p.m. when two vehicles traveling outbound on Lisbon Street collided as the result of an improper lane change, according to Lewiston police.
After the crash, a 1995 Ford F-150 driven by Lawrence Williams, 70, of Minot, struck a utility pole, while a 2020 Jeep Wrangler driven by Ronald Potvin of Lisbon left the road and hit JD Cuts Hair Salon at 1270 Lisbon St.
Williams was dead when emergency personnel arrived, police said.
Several people inside the salon were taken to local hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police shut down Lisbon Street between Scribner Boulevard and Pleasant Street while investigators reconstructed the crash.
