A 74-year-old woman died Wednesday after a pickup truck hit her as she crossed a street in Waterville.
Kathleen Corridan of Waterville was crossing the road at the intersection of Kennedy Memorial Drive and Brigham Street around 4:40 p.m. when a GMC pickup truck driven by a 60-year-old Norridgewock man hit her, according to police.
She was airlifted to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where she later died.
The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
No charges have been filed.
The crash remains under investigation.
