The McBee Dynasty’s Steve McBee turned over a series of luxury watches to help chip away at the seven-figure judgment he was ordered to pay, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Wednesday, October 29, federal prosecutors filed court documents in McBee’s criminal case over alleged insurance fraud.

Prosecutors explained that McBee, 53, turned over three luxury watches to the government after his sentencing. The filing listed a Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch, Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Automatic watch and a Rolex Two-Tone Daytona watch.

The prosecutors requested permission from the court to officially seize the items and likely sell them at a public auction. The judge approved the request.

As Us previously reported, McBee was ordered to serve 24 months in prison, followed by two years of supervised release on October 16. He will also have to pay $4 million in restitution.

Per court documents, “a lump sum payment of the full amount is ordered due immediately. If unable to pay the full amount immediately, while incarcerated, the defendant shall make quarterly payments of $25 or at least 10 percent of earnings, whichever is greater, and while on supervised release, monthly payments of $100 or 10 percent of gross income, whichever is greater, to commence 30 days after release from incarceration.”

McBee pleaded guilty to a “multi-million dollar fraud scheme involving federal crop insurance benefits he was not entitled to receive,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Missouri. “McBee admitted that he engaged in fraudulent activity from 2018 to 2020 that caused an economic loss to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.”

In court documents, prosecutors claimed McBee made a false report to his insurance provider in 2018 over his corn and soybean crop. They alleged he received more than $2.6 million in federal crop insurance benefits and $552,000 in federal crop insurance premium subsidies after making the false claim to his insurance company. McBee was facing up to 30 years in prison without parole.

McBee has until December 1 to self-surrender to begin his prison sentence. The judge recommended the reality star serve his time at a minimum-security federal prison in Yankton, South Dakota.

On October 17, Steve spoke out on Instagram after finding out his sentence.

“The number of messages I have received touches my heart beyond measure that words could express,” he said.

“But the truth of the matter is, I’m the one who’s lucky … lucky to have been able to spend time with so many high character young people and they were the ones that made me a better human not the other way around,” he added.

McBee ended, “I count my blessings every day for my family and the support they give me and for my extended family that continues to grow each and every day. This too shall pass.”

The McBee Dynasty, which debuted on Peacock in early 2024 and now airs on Bravo, focuses on McBee and his four sons: Steven McBee Jr., Jesse McBee, Cole McBee and Brayden McBee. The family runs a farm in Gallatin, Missouri.
