Maine high school soccer is entering its final and most exciting week of the season, and Bangor-area fans will be treated to some of the best action as several of the North regional championships will take place here on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bangor’s Cameron Stadium will host the Class A and Class B North title games, with the defending state champion Bangor Rams girls playing on their home field on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. against Camden Hills for the Class A North crown. The Hermon Hawks won’t have to travel far in their bid for the Class B girls North title on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. against Skowhegan, also at Cameron Stadium.

The John Bapst boys team will also get to play on its home field when it takes on Oceanside on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Cameron for the Class B boys title matchup between the top two teams in B North.

Hampden Academy will host the Class C North championships, with the Orono boys looking to keep their unbeaten season intact against second-ranked Mt. View of Thorndike.

The Class D North boys championship between Madawaska and Fort Fairfield will be held in Presque Isle, as will the statewide Class D girls divisional matchups.

Brewer High School will host the 8-player North title games on Wednesday, including the girls matchup between top seeds Dexter and Wisdom.

The full regional championship schedule is below, courtesy of the Maine Principals’ Association.

The state championship games will take place around the state on Saturday, with Messalonskee High School of Oakland hosting the Class A matchups, Edward Little High School of Auburn hosting in Class B, Cony High School of Augusta hosting Class C, Hermon hosting Class D, and Brewer hosting the 8-player state championships.
