
A freight train hit a pickup truck in Cumberland early Friday morning.
The collision happened about 12:25 a.m. at the railroad crossing on Tuttle Road, according to the Cumberland Fire Department.
When first responders arrived, they found the truck, which sustained significant damage, on the other side of the train.
The truck was occupied when it was hit, but fire officials didn’t immediately have information available about injuries.
Both the train and truck were cleared from the scene by 1:27 a.m.
