Kelsey Grammer found his happily ever after with wife Kayte Walsh after three marriages.
The Frasier alum first tied the knot with Doreen Alderman in 1982, with whom he shares daughter Spencer. The pair separated two years later before finalizing their divorce in 1990. Grammer, who welcomed daughter Greer in 1992 with then-girlfriend Barrie Buckner, went on to exchange vows with Leigh-Anne Csuhany. Their marriage was annulled in 1993.
Grammer and his third wife, Camille, wed in 1997. The pair, who share children Mason and Jude, split in 2010 and divorced in 2011. Grammer and Walsh said “I do” in 2011 and went on to have three children: daughter Faith and sons Kelsey and Auden. News broke in June 2025 that the couple are expecting their fourth baby, his eighth.
“I’m not proud of the way we started out because he was in a marriage,” Walsh said in a 2012 tell-all of her origins with Grammer. “I’m sorry. I have so many emotions. But I fell in love. I don’t know how to word it, I don’t know how to put it into words.”

2009
The duo first crossed paths in 2009, where she was working as a flight attendant on his flight to London. “We went out for coffee several days later and had this magical night in the snow in London around Christmastime,” Grammer told Jimmy Kimmel in 2012. “It was two years ago.”

2010
In October 2010, Grammar and Walsh announced that she suffered a miscarriage. “We lost our unborn child about six weeks ago,” the twosome said in a statement to People at the time. “We would like to thank all of those who expressed kindness and concern but we needed a little time to heal, time to find some solace before we publicly acknowledged our loss.”
Grammer and Walsh announced their engagement in December 2010.
2011
The couple got married at New York City’s Longacre Theater in February 2011, two weeks after he and Meyer finalized their divorce. Walsh joined Grammer for an episode of Boss in 2011, where she portrayed Gwendolyn Archer.
2012
In June 2012, Grammer and Walsh tied the knot for a second time at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas 15 months after their first wedding. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Faith, in July 2012. They shared in a statement that they were originally expecting twins.
“We were ecstatic earlier this year, when we announced that Kayte was carrying twins. Tragically we lost the little boy shortly thereafter,” Kelsey and Walsh said in a statement, per People. “This was not something we cared to make known publicly at the time. It was unspeakably painful and we know that people will understand our desire to keep the news private then, as we know they will respect our privacy in this matter now.”
The statement continued, “A glorious birth with a lingering sadness is ours today. We choose to celebrate the life that has been given us. We proudly introduce our Faith to the world today looking forward to the days ahead and the children yet to come.”
In his 2025 memoir, Karen: A Brother Remembers, Grammar reflected that the “greatest pain” he’d ever known was when he and Walsh made the decision to abort one of the twins because of complications. “[The abortion experience] made us stronger in a lot of ways,” Grammer told Us Weekly in 2025. “Kayte went through a lot.”

2014
Grammer and Walsh added son Kelsey Gabriel to their family in July 2014.
2016
The couple welcomed son Auden James in November 2016.
2018
Grammer couldn’t help but gush over Walsh in a 2018 interview with Closer Weekly, where he reflected on fatherhood. “It’s fantastic — the energy is magnificent. I’m as young as they are,” Grammer said at the time. “[My wife] has a pristine and extraordinary ability to love. She loves being pregnant and being a mom.”
In August 2018, Grammer opened up about his decision to get a tattoo as a nod to Walsh. “It was more of sort of an ownership thing,” Grammer told Conan O’Brien at the time. “My wife said, ‘Why don’t you get a tattoo?’ I guess it was sort of based on the idea that if ever I thought maybe a peccadillo outside the marriage was a good idea, that whoever might be … this particular piece of equipment was already signed and owned by someone named Kayte.”

June 2025

Grammer revealed on the “Pod Meets World” podcast that he and Walsh “just had our fourth one, so it just became eight kids.” The couple welcomed a boy named Christopher.
