Larsa Pippen is getting candid about the reality of coparenting with her ex-husband Scottie Pippen.

The Real Housewives of Miami alum, 51, shared details of navigating parenting with the former NBA star, 60, while speaking on the Friday, October 24 episode of podcast “I Do, Part 2.”

“It’s funny because when I was going through my divorce and ‘til today… it’s funny because Scottie and I fight over the kids, like he shows them so much love, I show them so much love,” Larsa admitted on the podcast. (Larsa and Scottie share four kids: Scotty Jr., 24, Preston, 23, Justin, 20, and Sophia, 16.

Larsa shared that sometimes her kids get caught in the middle. During the podcast, Larsa told a story about their daughter Sophia becoming upset because she was originally supposed to spend last year’s Thanksgiving with her in Miami but Scottie wanted to take her to Arkansas to visit his family for the holiday.

“And she was so upset, and I’m like, it’s okay, go to Arkansas with your dad, like he loves you so much, he’s so proud of it, you want to take you to visit his family,” Larsa recalled. “But I was thinking, like, I guess it’s a good problem to have both your parents are fighting for you and want you. That’s like a good feeling, you know?”

The reality star and professional athlete tied the knot in 1997 before they announced in 2016 that they were going their separate ways after almost two decades together.

Their divorce was finalized on December 15, 2021. Attorney David J. Glass told Us Weekly in a statement on January 5, 2022: “All issues were resolved amicably. The parties are now focusing on successfully coparenting their remaining minor children.”

Speaking to Us Weekly that same month, Larsa was candid about what it was like to go through a divorce with Scottie.

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan Were ‘On Different Paths’ Before Split

“I feel like it was three years. I was like, ‘Is it ever gonna be over?’ It’s the longest divorce in history,” Larsa exclusively shared with Us. “I’m kind of glad that like, you know, we are where we are today. The divorce is over, we’re still in a great place and our kids are older too.”

Despite being ready to move forward at the time, Larsa confessed that held some regret that her marriage did not work out for the children’s sake.

“I wish my kids would have had, you know, a mom and dad in the same home. I felt guilty because I just, you know, I grew up with my mom and dad,” Larsa explained to Us. “I wanted my kids to grow up like that, but as far as our relationship, it couldn’t be better than it is right now. To be honest with you, we’re like, in such a great place. We love each other. We’re always gonna support each other. We support our kids, you know, we’re just in a really good place.”
