A missing teen was found in a car Thursday after a Norridgewock man allegedly led police on a chase.
T.J. Wang Jr., 20, has been charged with operating without a license, attaching false plates, criminal speeding, eluding an officer and driving to endanger, according to Skowhegan Police Chief David Bucknam.
Wang was driving a Cadillac DeVille in Skowhegan, where officers attempted to pull him over. But Wang allegedly fled, leading Skowhegan police on a chase that extended into Norridgewock.
Police used a spike mat to take out Wang’s tires, bringing the chase to an end, Bucknam said Thursday night.
Inside the passenger seat police discovered a missing 16-year-old from Oakland.
Wang was taken to the Somerset County Jail in Madison.
