Anne Hathaway enjoyed a rare red carpet date night with her husband, Adam Shulman, as she was honored at God’s Love We Deliver’s 2025 Golden Heart Awards in New York City.
The Oscar winner, 42, and her jewelry designer spouse looked loved up as Shulman helped his wife out of a car outside the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine for the Monday, October 20, red carpet event. Hathaway later posed solo on the red carpet as Shulman, 44, looked on.
The Devil Wears Prada star Hathaway looked glamorous in an all-black ensemble and wore her hair down for the occasion. As well as striking a pose for the cameras by herself, she took photos with A-list attendees including model Gigi Hadid, fashion designer Michael Kors and fellow honoree Audra McDonald.
The annual awards honored Hathaway and McDonald, 55, for their continued support of God’s Love We Deliver, which delivers medically tailored meals to people who are unable to shop or cook for themselves.

Monday’s red carpet outing comes just a few months after Hathaway made rare comments about her home life with Shulman and their two sons, Jonathan, 9, and Jack, 5, in an interview with Vogue.
The article noted that “leisure-wise,” when she’s not working, the actress loves “hanging out” with her family.
“Uno games, baking when there’s time, teaching the kids to dribble a basketball in the apartment without upsetting the neighbors,” Hathaway described some of the activities she enjoys with her husband and two children.
In the same article, actor Bradley Cooper opened up about bonding with Hathaway and Shulman over play dates with their kids during the COVID pandemic. (Cooper, 50, shares daughter Lea, 8, with ex Irina Shayk.)
“We started hanging out as parents, having dance parties with children in my kitchen, and I fell in love with both of them,” Cooper said.
Cooper went on to praise Hathaway and Shulman’s marriage as “an emblem for that kind of commitment” and said that they “enrich” each other.
Hathaway and Shulman first met in April 2008 and began dating later that year. They got engaged in 2011 and married one year later.
In a 2013 interview with Harper’s Bazaar U.K., the Idea of You star said she “knew from the second I met him that he was the love of my life.”

“’I’m going to marry that man.’ I think he thought I was a little nuts, which I am a bit, but I’m also nice,” she recalled telling a friend.
Also on Monday, Hathaway shared what she’s been up to lately in an Instagram post. She wrote, in part, “I’m running again … but not in heels because [Devil Wears Prada 2] principle [sic] photography is DONE.”
Hathaway reprises her role as Andrea “Andy” Sachs in the sequel to the hit 2006 comedy The Devil Wears Prada, once again starring alongside Meryl Streep as fashion editor Miranda Priestly. Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci will also reprise their roles as Miranda’s assistant Emily Charlton and stylist Nigel Kipling, respectively.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set for release on May 1, 2026.
