BELFAST – Acclaimed Maine-based singer-songwriter Ry Cavanaugh is set to bring his signature blend of Americana, folk, blues and storytelling to The Underground Lounge in Belfast at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23. Best known for his work with Session Americana and within the Boston music scene, Cavanaugh’s vocals and passionate songwriting have captivated audiences nationwide. Joining him on stage for this show is songwriter Jennifer Kimball (The Story, Maybe Baby) and long-time midcoast favorite Dan Kelly (The Kelly Brothers Band, Louisa Stancioff). The Underground Lounge is located at 17 Court St., just under the Belfast Masker’s Theatre. Voted Midcoast Villager’s Best of the Best Live Music Venue (2nd place) in 2025, the Underground Lounge is a volunteer-led, DIY music series which keeps the Belfast live music energy going throughout the Maine “off-season.” Tickets are $10-$20 at the door (cash only).
