
A Hampden man was arrested Sunday morning after he was allegedly driving nearly 120 mph on Interstate 95 in New Hampshire.
Jason Harvey, 48, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated; driving 30 mph or more over the speed limit; driving under the influence; driving with an alcohol concentration of 0.08% or greater; reckless operation; and having an open container, according to the New Hampshire State Police.
Harvey was spotted about 7:19 a.m. by a state police aircraft driving 119 mph north on I-95 in Hampton Falls and Hampton.
A trooper stopped Harvey and placed him under arrest. He was one of 20 drivers spotted on I-95 in New Hampshire driving 90 mph or faster Sunday, according to state police.
He was taken to Rockingham County House of Corrections, where he was held in protective custody.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 31.
