A woman was burned in a Tuesday afternoon fire in Lewiston.
The fire broke out in the Lincoln Street building about 3:30 p.m., according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
When firefighters arrived, they discovered heavy flames on the main building’s exterior and spreading inside, Moss said.
Crews managed to keep the flames from spreading inside, but two vehicles were destroyed outside.
A woman was taken to Central Maine Medical Center for treatment of burns not considered life-threatening.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
