Taylor Swift knows all too well how to put together the perfect fall outfit.
Swift, 35, was spotted heading out to dinner at The Eighty Six in New York City on Tuesday, October 7. She rocked a pleated plaid Miu Miu miniskirt and leather tan knee-high boots for the night out, pairing it with a black turtleneck top and Dior purse. She completed the look with her signature red lip and a Cartier bracelet, wearing her blonde locks straight.
Swift was without fiancé Travis Kelce for the evening, who spent Sunday, October 5, in Florida as the Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The pop star, meanwhile, has been busy on her press tour promoting her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. She’s next scheduled to stop by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday, October 9, which films in the Big Apple.
Earlier this week, Swift made an appearance on another late night program, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, for an extended interview where she discussed the inspiration behind her Life of a Showgirl songs. She also addressed various online rumors and gave insight into her recent engagement with Kelce, 35.

She confessed to host Jimmy Fallon that she looks at her engagement ring “constantly” since the NFL star, 35, proposed in August, adding that wearing it “doesn’t feel in any way normal for me. I’m just sort of like, ‘Oh, man!’”
She sung Kelce’s praises, sharing that her fiancé is “my favorite person I’ve ever met — no offense to everyone else. But the fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever.”
Swift then revealed how Kelce planned the entire proposal — by distracting her with an episode of his “New Heights” podcast and blacking out all the windows in his house — and the words he said to her before getting down on one knee.
“Do you wanna go and just walk around the backyard and have a glass of wine?” she recalled him asking, to which she responded, “I’m always gonna wanna do that.”
Things then clicked into place for Swift, who realized “why all the windows were curtained and why he was nervous. It was the best possible-case scenario.”

She added, “I kinda realized that he’s walking around sorta nervous about the podcast, [saying], ‘My heart is racing. … I know how much this means to you. I just really want this to be what you’d hoped it would be.’ Because we’d been talking about doing the podcast and announcing the album. And he’s like, ‘My heart’s just racing.’ I’ve never seen this dude nervous. Ever. He’s professionally not a nervous person.”
