Influencer Luanna Araújo and her fiancé were reportedly killed on her birthday in a three-way highway collision.
Araújo, fiancé Korbinian Andreas Dengler and their friend Herbson Nunes Negrão were in a car on September 26 when the vehicle collided with two other trucks around 1:20 a.m. on a Brazil highway, Brazilian news outlet g1 reported.
All three passengers inside were reportedly killed. The content creator, who has amassed more than 94,000 followers on Instagram, was 29 when she died.
The outlet reported that one of the truck drivers was recovered from the wreckage by the fire department and rushed to a hospital in critical condition, while the other driver sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are reportedly investigating the incident.
After news broke of Araújo’s death, Colégio Santa Sofia shared a statement in honor of the influencer.
“Colégio Santa Sofia expresses its deepest condolences for the passing of Luanna Araújo, a former student of our institution and daughter of our beloved sports coordinator, Cristiano Melo,” the statement read via Instagram, translated from Portuguese. “We join in prayer, asking God to comfort the hearts of the family and all who shared in Luanna’s life and friendship. In this time of grief, we reaffirm our solidarity and closeness to Cristiano and his family, in the hope of faith and the certainty of eternal life.”
Several users took to the comments section of the post to share their condolences. “My condolences to the whole family 🖤 😢,” one user wrote, while another added, “My condolences to all the families and friends who lost loved ones in this tragedy. Prior to her death, Araújo’s last Instagram post was shared on September 7. In the upload, Araújo shared a mirror selfie where she posed in a white skirt and black long sleeve shirt styled with gold jewelry and a matching black bag. “I love it! 🖤🤍,” she wrote, in part, in the caption, which was translated to English.
One year before her death, Araújo commemorated her birthday with a series of photos of her. “🥳🎉Starting another cycle with a lot of gratitude to God for all the lessons and opportunities thus far! 🙏🏼❤️Bring on a new chapter of amazing stories! ✨,” she captioned the Instagram post at the time.
Following her death, users have taken to the comments section to commemorate her. “A year after this post she is gone. May God comfort the hearts of her family and the other 2 who are also gone🙏,” one user wrote, while another added, “learned today of your loss, Aninha. I’m so sorry. My condolences to of the family.”
