Vanderpump Rules alum Ally Lewber is mulling a move across the country to South Carolina after crossing paths with the Southern Hospitality stars.
“[My podcast] ended, and I was just like, ‘OK, what’s keeping me here right now?’” Ally, 29, said of leaving Los Angeles on the Wednesday, September 24, episode of the “Disrespectfully” podcast. “Nothing, so I was like, ‘OK, I’m just going to travel and have fun.’ I was already in Charleston visiting family and friends.”
She continued, “I was there for a week and I had a lot of fun, so I just decided to get a cute Airbnb and go there for a month and try it out, and I loved it.”
While speaking with podcast hosts and fellow VPR alums Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan, Ally teased that she’s “highly considering” permanently moving to Charleston.

“I need a change, like, I’ve been feeling numb here,” she explained, citing that she also has friends and family nearby. “I can do my [star sign] readings, I can do everything I’m doing now there — plus Leva [Bonaparte] has restaurants and bars.”
Southern Charm star Leva, 46, owns a handful of eateries in Charleston, one of which is the focus of Bravo’s Southern Hospitality series.
“When I was there, I would sing and play at her little restaurant, which was fun,” Ally said, teasing that her performances were even filmed for Bravo cameras. “I have no idea about [any details]. I filmed a little.”
James Kennedy and Girlfriend Ally Lewber’s Relationship Timeline
According to Ally, appearing on Southern Hospitality felt “so different” from Vanderpump Rules because there was less shouting. (Ally appeared on seasons 10 and 11 of VPR during her relationship with now-ex James Kennedy.)
“It was tame. I don’t know what I was doing [because] I didn’t witness drama,” she teased. “I was kind of, like, ‘Oh, this is chill.’ Everyone was really friendly and friends with each other. I was like, ‘Oh.’ I only filmed, like, one group scene. I wasn’t involved much with [the show].”
While Ally made it clear that she’s yet to make a final decision about relocation to the South, she stressed on the podcast that she could “always come back” to L.A. down the line.
Ally initially shared an apartment with James, 33, in California but moved out following their January split.
“I feel, like, in L.A. it still feels like a small town sometimes,” she said on Wednesday’s episode. “It really is a bubble, I think.”
Bravo, meanwhile, has not further revealed details surrounding its upcoming season of Southern Hospitality.
