Mothers know best, and for Candace Cameron Bure, she certainly knew what daughter Natasha Bure would like when actor Bradley Steven Perry popped the question.
“Still amazes me that you were totally surprised,” Cameron Bure, 49, told Natasha, 27, in a Saturday, September 20, Instagram comment. “Meanwhile, I’m texting with Bradley between filming scenes with you like every day, helping coordinate our family being there. You guys are so cute!!”
Natasha, whom the Full House alum shares with husband Valeri Bure, married Perry, 26, earlier this month. The couple never publicly announced their engagement after a year of dating.
“This was the most shocked I’ve been in my entire life,” Natasha said in a social media video posted on Saturday. “I obviously knew the engagement was coming. We had talked about it [and] we went ring shopping together.”

While Perry did not share any of his proposal plans with his future spouse in advance, Natasha did let him know it was important for her family to be present on the big day. (Cameron Bure and Valeri, 51, also share sons Lev, 25, and Maksim, 23.)
“I got an email from my management team,” Natasha explained, referring to a fake invitation to a brand event held in April. “When I got the invitation, [Bradley] had told me it probably wouldn’t work out [to go]. We already had these dates blocked out for a project of our own we were working on, and it would have overlapped.”
Natasha and Perry, a former Disney Channel child star, ultimately decided to go to the fake event after finishing their work obligations.

“The party was an hour away at a hotel,” she said. “Bradley pulled over to this little side parking lot outside [and] I did my makeup in five minutes, I changed into this two-piece yellow outfit, which I thought was for this spring event.”
Perry, however, needed to stall Natasha before proceeding with their plans.
“The problem was her parents were still about 10 minutes away. They flew in, got in the car and drove about two hours to where we were getting engaged,” Perry said in his now-wife’s video. “They got stuck in terrible traffic. I had to stall for 10 minutes. … I couldn’t think of anything other than, ‘Honey, I’m going to poop my pants.’”

After taking a detour to the restroom, Perry led to Natasha to a decorated pathway — ring box in hand.
“As we’re walking up to this beautiful little bungalow, I’m under the impression that this is where the event is,” Natasha said. “As we’re pulling up, he goes, ‘Did you read the sign?’ There’s a tiny sign on the door [and] it says, ‘Wife, yes [or] no?’”
After reading the sign, Natasha looked back to see Perry down on one knee with the now-open ring box before she said “yes.”
“Then, we had this beautiful event put on by his parents [and] all of our family was there,” Natasha concluded. “We took photos and celebrated. It was the best day.”
