Coming off a very fulfilling professional year, Grace Van Patten is moving full steam ahead — starting with a creative and personal Ford collaboration.
The car company announced on Friday, September 19, that Van Patten, 28, has partnered with Ford on a custom keychain, which is made by famed jewelry designer and owner of Jewelry Unlimited Wafi Lalani.
“I love how this keychain takes something as classic and timeless as Ford and gives it a fresh, stylish edge,” Van Patten exclusively told Us Weekly about working with Ford on the fashionable item.
The exclusive, limited-edition keychains celebrate the Mustang, Raptor, Bronco and F-150. This felt like the perfect collaboration for Van Patten, whose love for Ford has spanned years.

“It’s more than just an accessory,” she added about the speciality keychain. “It feels like carrying a piece of that history, with me for every adventure, for every drive.”

Ford and Van Patten’s collaboration is part of the company’s new global platform: Ready Set Ford. This marks a new chapter for Ford as they celebrate human capability and passion. The unique keychains merge a love for cars with luxury design for fans looking for a collectible accessory.
The partnership is just one of many passion projects Van Patten has gotten to explore recently. After winning Us over with her roles in Nine Perfect Strangers and Tell Me Lies, Van Patten got to push herself even further by bringing Amanda Knox‘s story to life in Hulu’s The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox.

“Amanda couldn’t have been more open and vulnerable with me and inviting when I first met her,” Van Patten recalled to Us about her experience filming the hit series. “The goal for me was to just understand her as much as possible and from the very first moment she let me in so openly. I asked her everything I could think of, and she was willing to help me go there and walk me through her feelings and emotions throughout her experience.”
The actress was grateful for the opportunity to uplift Knox’s voice.

“That was the most important thing to me, to try and portray those emotions as much as possible as opposed to doing some sort of impression of her or impersonation,” Van Patten continued. “So, she really allowed me to go there and do that, and it’s been a privilege to help tell her side of the story with this show.”

Looking ahead, Van Patten wouldn’t rule out exploring more real-life stories on screen, adding, “I’m always interested in telling complex female stories with depth, so if the right project or story was being told based on a real person’s story of course.”
She continued: “I’ve said it before, but I’ve never felt so fulfilled after a job and have loved being a small part of Amanda being able to reclaim her story.”
Van Patten is also excited for fans to see what is still to come in season 3 of Tell Me Lies.
“I can’t say too much but fans are in for a crazy ride this season!” she teased to Us after wrapping production. “I think it’s the messiest yet and it truly feels like the peak of all these characters’ worst decisions. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been working on.”
