A cat is missing after Saturday morning fire heavily damaged a Palmyra mobile home.
The fire broke out about 10:30 a.m. in a 32-foot travel trailer off Warren Hill Road, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The blaze spread from the trailer, which was converted into a woodworking shop, to a nearby mobile home.
The travel trailer was destroyed, while the mobile home was heavily damaged.
No one was home at the time of the fire, but one cat is missing.
No firefighters were hurt during the battle.
Investigators were unable to determine the cause of the fire because of the extent of the damage, but it’s not considered suspicious.
