
BATH — As we prepare for the 2026 sailing season, Maine’s First Ship, home of the 1607 pinnace Virginia, announces our upcoming series of events that will delight visitors and supporters.

Sail to Boston fundraising dinner
Coastal Navigation 2-day workshop and class. Course fee $300 includes all materials. Learn triangulation, taking a bearing, plotting a course, latitude and longitude, tides and currents. Be confident navigating under all Maine conditions.
Currently accepting donations for our Nautical Yard Sale. Accepting boats, oars, paddles, sails, marine hardware,chain and buoys, lights and radios, email [email protected] for details.
April 11 9 a.m. to noon. The last indoor farmers market of the season. Our MFS docents are available for Freight Shed tours and personalized conversations about The Virginia Project and Our Ship s/v Virginia.
