BLUE HILL — George Stevens Academy is pleased to announce that senior Kenzee Taylor has been named the school’s recipient of the MPA Principal’s Award — a prestigious honor recognizing outstanding academic achievement and good citizenship — and has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
Established in 1984, the Principal’s Award invites member schools across the region to nominate one senior each year who exemplifies both scholastic excellence and strong character. Recipients are honored at an annual honors luncheon, where they receive a plaque and lapel pin. This year, Taylor was among a select group of attendees chosen by lottery to receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Taylor was nominated by Dan Welch, head of school at George Stevens Academy.
A member of the Class of 2026, Taylor joins a distinguished group of GSA graduates who have been recognized through this award since the school began participating in the program.
