An Athens man died Wednesday night in a rollover crash in Skowhegan.
Earle Shepardson, 53, was driving a 2007 GMC Acadia toward downtown Skowhegan on Route 2, also known as Canaan Road, about 9:10 p.m. when he apparently lost control on black ice, went off the road and rolled over before coming to a rest against a guardrail, according to the Waterville Morning Sentinel.
Shepardson died at the scene, the newspaper reported.
