Amanda Batula admitted on Summer House that couples therapy was her and husband Kyle Cooke’s “last option” to save their marriage — just months before they announced their divorce in January.
“Last weekend was really, really bad,” Amanda, 34, said during the Tuesday, April 7, episode of Summer House, which filmed in August 2025.
Amanda noted that after Kyle, 43, yelled, “F*** you” and called her a “f***ing dumbass bitch” in the Hamptons one week prior, they had a positive heart-to-heart and agreed to try couples therapy.
“I feel like there’s a lot of good things happening. I am hoping we are moving in the right direction and he’s finally, truly heard me,” Amanda said of Kyle.
West Wilson Weighed in on Kyle and Amanda’s Marriage 2 Months Before Romance
She confessed, “Couples therapy feels like our last option. That’s all we have left. If we can’t pay someone to fix our problems, then what the f*** are we doing?”
Kyle was in agreement, telling the cameras in his own confessional that he thought the pair had taken the right steps to try and salvage their relationship.
“I’m in high spirits because Amanda and I agreed to go to couples therapy,” he revealed. “Something had to literally break for us to agree to go to couples therapy.”
The Loverboy founder admitted, “I’ll take full responsibility of breaking it. I said, ‘F you.’ I feel horrible. But I’m finally feeling hopeful and optimistic and excited.”
‘Summer House’ Fans Questioned Amanda and West’s Dynamic Before Romance
Kyle noted that they only had “two weekends left” in their Hamptons shared house, but he wanted to “make the most of them” with Amanda.
The Summer House episode filmed five months before Kyle and Amanda announced on January 19 that they had parted ways after four years of marriage. (The reality stars tied the knot in September 2021.)
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the duo said in a joint Instagram statement. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”

Two months after their breakup, Amanda made headlines again, this time for her relationship with Summer House costar West Wilson. After weeks of romance speculation, the pair confirmed in an Instagram Story statement on March 31 that their friendship has “evolved” into something more.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” Amanda and West, 31, wrote. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
Kyle broke his silence on the romance bombshell on Wednesday, April 1, telling Adam Glyn in a three-part TikTok, “I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest.”
Amanda Batula Said She Returned to ‘Summer House’ for West, Not Kyle
He explained that he wasn’t “justifying any behavior,” but felt like Amanda was “getting cyberbullied” while West was allegedly “playing multiple women at the same time.”
While Kyle noted he didn’t fully understand the “timeline” of Amanda and West’s relationship, a source exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, April 3, that West was “hitting on” his ex — and Amanda’s longtime friend — Ciara Miller recently.
The insider claimed that West and Ciara, 30, had “hooked up recently, about three to four weeks ago.” (The exes first dated in 2023 and were flirtatious throughout season 10 of Summer House, which filmed in 2025.)
Kyle and Amanda, for their part, were spotted walking their dogs together on Friday in New York City.
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
