I will be voting for Janet Mills for U.S. Senate in the upcoming Democratic primary election on June 9.
I value her experience as a prosecutor and as a two-term governor. She has shown us who she is and how she governs over her many years of leadership for the people of Maine.
We do not need to learn about her from social media, and we do not need to rely on promises. We know her character and her record.
I am confident, based on these, that she will be a formidable candidate against Susan Collins, and that Mills will serve us well as a U.S. senator.
