Former Bachelor contestant Sarah Trott exclusively let Us Weekly in on her Italian-inspired bridal shower.
Trott, 30, appeared on season 25 of the popular ABC franchise, vying for the heart of Bachelor Matt James, but she left the show early. Years after her reality TV journey was cut short, Trott announced her engagement to Grant Fisher, president and CEO of VAI Resort, in late 2025.
“My goal was to feel like we were transported to the Amalfi Coast for an afternoon,” Trott exclusively told Us about her bridal shower, which was planned and designed with the help of Maison Glasco. “From the hanging bougainvillea, the limoncello spritzes and the Italian market with draped garlic and chilies, this was all about authentic nods to the perfect Italian summer.”
The celebration was held on Saturday, April 4, in Phoenix and was all about “community and girlhood.” Trott wanted to focus on “celebrating a big milestone with friends and creating unforgettable memories.”
Every Time Bachelor Nation Stars Left Before the Final Rose Ceremony
Bridal shower attendees left with handpicked Italian goodies curated by Trott. (The shower was catered by Lauren Allen Culinary Events and styled by Rylee Paige Food Styling.)
“As a thank you gift, guests could take home their favorite items from our curated Italian market,” Trott told Us. “I brought some of these items back from Italy myself after our wedding venue scout, like the handmade lemon scented soaps from Positano.”

The couple are “hosting a very intimate and small wedding” in Ravello, Italy, in August. Even the dessert at her shower brought “a piece of Italy” to Arizona.
“I was inspired to create this iconic lemon meringue dessert tower after seeing some Italian weddings offer a tiramisu tower instead of cake,” Trott said. “I love the non-traditional nods and made my own twist on this trend.”

Most importantly, Trott added, “I wanted the opportunity to celebrate with friends and family I cherish.”
Flowers were arranged by Arizona-based event florist With Love, Florals, with Kristina Theijs at The Edit and Cacie Caroll Photography capturing photos and video of Trott’s special day.
Trott started her career as a broadcast journalist, appearing on air as a reporter and anchor for ABC and NBC affiliate stations. She has since transitioned into content creation and on-camera host work, working with brands such as Wynn Resorts, Michelin Guide and Porsche to bring “an editorial lens to destinations and experiences around the world.”

Apart from her work, Trott often uses her platform to raise awareness for ALS amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and families affected by the disease, which she also has firsthand experience with. Her father’s own battle with ALS contributed to her early exit from The Bachelor before his death in late 2021.
In lieu of a gift registry for their wedding, Trott and Fisher asked guests to donate to Hope Loves Company, supporting a special cause that is “close to our hearts.”

“[Hope Loves Company is] the only nonprofit in the US dedicated to supporting children who have a loved one battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease),” Trott told Us. “This was a special way to honor my dad, Tom Trott, during our celebration.”
