The Real Housewives of Rhode Island star Liz McGraw took a page out of BFF Dolores Catania’s book — and she’s not afraid to admit it.
“I went to Dolores’ surgeon,” Liz said during the RHORI premiere on Thursday, April 2. “She actually referred me to him, and we also have the same dentist.”
Liz explained during the premiere that she and Dolores met “at a cannabis convention.” Liz convinced Dolores to spend a summer in Rhode Island, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey star will appear in a “friend of” role throughout this season of RHORI.
“Dolores Catania, she owns my heart,” Liz said. “I trust Dolores, she knows where the bodies are buried.”
Dolores offered Dr. Mark Karolak a shout-out during an interview with Us Weekly ahead of the RHORI premiere.
“He’s done a lot of Housewives. He’s amazing, natural-looking always,” Dolores said. “Liz is perfect. Her face is perfect.”
Liz confirmed to Us that Dr. Karolak “did a few tweaks about a year ago” while addressing her comparisons to Dolores.
“I actually think we looked more alike before,” Liz said, calling it “the highest compliment” when people say she and Dolores look like sisters.
Dolores Catania Was Like ‘Mama Bear’ to New Rhode Island Housewives
While Dolores was in Rhode Island last summer, people would ask her whether she knew Liz because of how much they looked alike.
“I look a lot like her mom, and that’s how we bonded,” Dolores said of Liz. “If you see pictures of her mom, we look very, very much alike.”
Liz said that she and Dolores speak “every day in regular life,” so when it came to filming, all she wanted to do was “hang out” with her friend.
Dolores, meanwhile, had some advice to give Liz before the new Bravolebrity kicked off her first season.
“I always said, ‘Just be yourself,’” Dolores told Us. “[She] and I spoke very little about the show. Of course, she didn’t know what to expect, and you can’t really prepare somebody for that. You can’t plan life. You can’t plan scenes and things like that.”

Dolores knew that Liz was “going to be great” on the show.
“She’s very transparent. She’s very about telling the truth. She can’t stand a liar,” Dolores continued. “If she has questions, we’ll bounce things off of each other, but it was very rarely about the show. The same advice I gave her, I give to everyone. … Just be yourself, because it’s yourself that got you here.”
