With so much focus on the Oscars this month, it’s refreshing to see Prime Video focused on popcorn movies to entertain its subscribers.
A film doesn’t have to be an awards-season contender to be worthwhile, they just have to be fun to watch.
The Watch With Us team has put together our picks for the three new Prime Video movies to watch in March, as ranked by IMDb.
Two of the three had theatrical runs in 2025 that didn’t get a lot of attention, but they’re streaming hits on Prime Video.

3. ‘Shadow Force’ (2025)
Shadow Force didn’t put up much of a fight at the box office last year, but it’s still a trip to see Scandal‘s Kerry Washington in an action movie opposite Omar Sy, the leading man from Netflix’s Lupin series. Washington and Sy play Shadow Force operatives Kyrah Owens and Issac Sarr, respectively. While doing the dirty work for CIA’s Shadow Force director Jack Cinder (Mark Strong), Kyrah and Issac fell in love and went off the grid to raise their child together.
Years later, Kyrah and Issac live under assumed identities with their son, Ky (Jahleel Kamara). In the meantime, Cinder has risen to Secretary General of the G7, and he’s never forgiven the couple for their perceived betrayal. When Kyrah and Issac accidentally reveal their whereabouts, Cinder sends the rest of Shadow Force out to assassinate them.

2. ‘Roofman’ (2025)
As incredible as it sounds, Roofman is based on a true story, and it’s easy to see why Channing Tatum was drawn to the title role. In the late ’90s, former Army officer Jeffrey Manchester figured out how to use some of the skills he learned in the military to help pursue a life of crime. He earned the “Roofman” nickname by breaking into McDonald’s restaurants through the roof and robbing the safe when the employees came in the next day.

Manchester’s problem is that he never knows when to stop. While hiding out at a local Toys “R” Us, Manchester eludes the arrogant manager, Mitch (Peter Dinklage), and strikes up a romance with one of the employees, Leigh Wainscott (Kirsten Dunst). Living in the store while remaining undetected is a scheme that’s only going to work for so long. Manchester’s a bright guy, but it’s only a matter of time before his actions come back to bite him.

1. ‘Valkyrie’ (2008)
Tom Cruise‘s long association with Mission: Impossible screenwriter and director Christopher McQuarrie began with the World War II thriller Valkyrie. This film is also based on a true story, and features Cruise as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, a German officer who is deeply disillusioned by Adolf Hitler (David Bamber) and his monstrous actions.
Von Stauffenberg is drawn into a plot to assassinate Hitler and take control of Germany by Major General Henning von Tresckow (Kenneth Branagh) and Dr. Carl Friedrich Goerdeler (Kevin McNally). If you know anything about history, then you’ll be well aware that their coup was unsuccessful. But one of the best parts about the film is watching their plans come apart at the seams.
