
Morgan Hynd serves as a commissioner of Knox County and currently is vice chair of the Commission.
As director of the Bingham Program, she manages a multimillion-dollar charitable endowment focused on improving public health policy and community health across Maine.
Hynd served five years on the RSU 40 School Board (Medomak Valley area), where she held the position of vice chair for three years and chaired the curriculum committee.
She is a former board chair and member of Maine Philanthropy Center (2017-25) and currently serves on the board of Children’s Oral Health Network of Maine.
Hynd also is the current board chair of the Maine Juvenile Justice Advisory Group, which advises state policymakers on effective system responses for children.
Maine Spirit of America is a chapter of Spirit of America Foundation, an organization promoting community service.
