Kristi Noem has addressed the recent reports that her husband, Bryon Noem, participates in online fetish forums.
“Ms. Noem is devastated,” a spokesperson for the former United States Secretary of Homeland Security, 54, said in a statement to the New York Post on Tuesday, March 31. “The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time.”
Earlier on Tuesday, the Daily Mail published photos of Bryon, 56, dressed in pink hot pants and wearing fake breasts that appeared to be made of balloons.
Bryon reportedly paid $25,000 to chat with online models in the “bimbofication” scene, which involves people who turn themselves into dolls by undergoing silicone injections and surgical enhancements.

According to the outlet, Bryon allegedly sent a message to a model and shared his love for “huge, huge ridiculous boobs.”
Us Weekly has reached to Kristi and Bryon for comment.
Kristi and Bryon tied the knot in 1992. The couple share three children: daughters Kassidy and Kennedy and son Booker. Kristi and Bryon are also grandparents.
Kristi began her political career in 2007 as a member of the South Dakota House of Representatives. Four years later, she was elected to represent South Dakota in the United States House of Representatives. After spending time in the federal government, Kristi ran for governor of the Mount Rushmore State. She served as governor from 2019 to 2025.
Kristi resigned from office when she was nominated to serve as President Donald Trump’s United States Secretary of Homeland Security in 2025. Trump, 79, removed Kristi from the position earlier this month after she testified in front of the Senate and House Judiciary Committee. The secretary was called in for a hearing to due to backlash over her handling of the department and her connection to Corey Lewandowski who served as a special employee in an advisory role. Representative asked Kristi if she “had sexual relations” with Lewandowski.
“I am shocked we’re going down and peddling tabloid garbage in this committee,” Kristi replied, per USA Today.

Trump ultimately announced that Oklahoma senator Markwayne Mullin would replace Kristi at Homeland Security. He also shared that Kristi would be reassigned as the United States Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas.
The President reacted to the reports of Kristi’s husband earlier on Tuesday.
“I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad,” Trump told the Daily Mail. “I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it.”
