The internet is in a frenzy over claims that Tom Holland and Zendaya have secretly tied the knot.
It all started when Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, claimed at the Actor Awards in March 2026 that the couple had privately gotten married. The viral interview led fans to closely analyze photos of the Spider-Man costars’ ring fingers during recent outings, while a seemingly AI-generated photo of their alleged wedding added fuel to the fire.
Zendaya and Holland met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, and relationship rumors quickly followed. However, their romance wasn’t confirmed until July 2021, when the two were spotted packing on PDA in Los Angeles. A source exclusively told Us Weekly shortly after that Zendaya and Holland “started off as really great friends and stayed that way for a long while before things turned romantic.”

Are Tom Holland and Zendaya Married?
Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, told multiple outlets at the 2026 Actor Awards that the Euphoria star and Uncharted actor were already married.
“The wedding has already happened. You missed it. It’s very true,” Roach told Access Hollywood when asked about plans for Zendaya’s wedding dress.
Zendaya’s mom, Claire Stoermer, added fuel to the speculation by sharing a cryptic reaction to Roach’s comment via her Instagram Stories.
“The laugh…” she wrote alongside a clip of Roach’s interview, adding a laughing emoji.
Roach later fed into the rumors that Zendaya and Holland tied the knot in secret at the 2026 Oscars.
While chatting with Extra’s correspondent Terri Seymour, Roach said that there were “no” comments that he wanted to “clarify.”
“So she’s married?” Seymour asked. Roach responded with a smile, “I said what I said.”
Nearly two weeks before Roach made the claim, Zendaya sparked marriage rumors by swapping her engagement ring for what appeared to be a gold wedding band during a night out on February 18.

Tom Holland was also spotted one day after the marriage claim, but he did not have a ring on his left finger, according to a photo shared by E! News. His right hand stayed in his pocket.
After Roach’s interview, a photo went viral on X, depicting Zendaya and Holland standing at an altar in a white wedding gown and tuxedo, respectively, as they placed rings on each other’s fingers. However, a disclaimer under the post noted, “An account on X used AI to create the picture.”
Neither Holland nor Zendaya have confirmed the marriage reports. Us Weekly has reached out to their reps for comment.
When Did Tom Holland and Zendaya Get Engaged?
Much like the marriage rumors, Tom Holland and Zendaya have not publicly confirmed the details of their engagement. The Drama star only hinted that she was engaged by wearing a diamond ring to the Golden Globes in January 2025.
Tom’s father, Dominic Holland, later shared more about the special moment in his son’s relationship.
“Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…” Dominic wrote via Patreon in January 2025. “He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter.”

Tom Holland and Zendaya are notoriously private when it comes to their romance.
“Neither of us want to hide and not live our lives and do normal things like go out for dinner, but at the same time we want to protect our privacy,” Zendaya explained to The Mirror in January 2026. “You have to accept that, to a degree, some aspects of your privacy are going to be out of your control. Weeks later, during an April interview on The New York Times’ “Modern Love” podcast, Zendaya explained why she refused to address the marriage rumors directly.
“I just feel like for me there is this level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship,” she said. “I do know that I’m a public person, and so is he, and I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other, so I really do understand that and I don’t want to dismiss that like, ‘Stay out of my business,’ or whatever.”
Zendaya continued, “In a lot of ways, I’m also a very private person and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well. … I hear it, but also [I have] my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about, but then also what I’m willing to share.”
