A Greenwood man was killed Monday evening in a three-vehicle crash in Raymond.
Seth Hodgkins, 20, was riding a motorcycle north on Route 85, also known as Webb’s Mills Road, about 7:27 p.m. when he collided with a southbound brown 2012 Toyota RAV4 as its driver, 23-year-old Seth Thayer of Raymond, turned onto Tarkiln Hill Road, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Hodgkins was thrown from the motorcycle and then was hit by a southbound 2015 GMC Terrain driven by 55-year-old Christopher Akers of Casco, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday.
Hodgkins, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
