Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin’s son Leonardo sustained a head injury during a recent family vacation.
“Trigger warning: Leo split his forehead open and we were well taken care of in the hospital. So grateful for the kindness and care,” Hilaria, 42, wrote in the caption of an Instagram carousel on Monday, March 30. Included in the post was a photo of Leo, 9, lying on an exam table and receiving care at the hospital, as well as a snap of him sitting in a wheelchair and a close-up shot of the cut on his forehead covered with gauze.
Hilaria did not reveal how Leo got injured.
“I love that my family came to meet me after my work trip. Such a special time to be here together 🤍,” the mom of seven wrote in the caption, adding that other than Leo’s accident, the trip was filled with “beach, together, practicing walking like 🦀😂.”

Hilaria concluded, “Memories made. I missed them so much it hurt 💕.”
The content creator also shared several photos and videos from the beach, including one where Leo walked beside her wearing a huge floppy hat. The bandaged cut could be seen above his eyebrow.
Hilaria, who shares seven children with Alec, 67, has offered several updates while away on her work trip, although she has not shared her exact location.
“Today is the day I fly away for a really exciting work trip, I am so grateful and happy for this experience. AND my heart hurts because I’m leaving all my babies at home 😭,” Hilaria captioned a post on March 8. “My kids asked me how many hugs and kisses will feel like enough: I told them there is no number that will make us not miss and ache for each other every day.”
The podcaster continued, “But we will talk every day and count the days until we can be together again 💕. They wanted me [to] wake them up and film them, in case they don’t remember it happened 😂. Left a note, baked some treats, and sprayed each other their stuffies with my perfume 🤍. I love [these] little people so much and am really trying to figure out the work/motherhood balance. The dual identities are hard, no? Love you all 💙.”

Over the next several days, Hilaria posted photos of her kids and Alec back home and shared how excited she was to reunite with them. In another update on Saturday, March 28, Hilaria revealed that her family had come to visit.
“Reunited!!! 😭❤️” she wrote alongside photos and videos of the kids, including one where they all jumped out of a car to hug Hilaria upon their arrival.
Alec and Hilaria tied the knot in June 2012 and have since welcomed sons Leonardo, Rafael, 10, Romeo, 7, and Eduardo, 5, and daughters Carmen, 12, Ilaria, 3, and María Lucía, 4. Alec is also the dad of daughter Ireland, 29, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger.
