Spring is finally here, which means it’s time to look back at some of the winter 2026 Netflix movies that didn’t get the attention they deserved.

Even Netflix can only promote so many films without letting others fall by the wayside.

But the good thing about having such an expansive lineup is that even older Netflix films can still be rediscovered by audiences.

Toward that end, Watch With Us has selected three great Winter 2026 Netflix movies that you should watch. These flicks were largely ignored the first time, so don’t make the same mistake.

New on Netflix in March 2026 — The Full List of Movies and TV Shows

‘Goodbye June’ (2025)

You may not have caught Goodbye June in time for Christmas, but it’s the kind of story that will stay in season all year round. Kate Winslet made her directorial debut on this film, which was written by her son, Joe Anders. That family affair attracted some A-list talent to this holiday flick, including Helen Mirren, Toni Collette, Andrea Riseborough and Johnny Flynn.

Mirren plays June Cheshire, a grandmother who receives a terminal diagnosis shortly before Christmas. That brings her daughters, Helen (Collette), Julia (Winslet) and Molly (Riseborough), back together with their brother, Connor (Flynn), and their father, Bernie (Timothy Spall). Before June passes from this mortal coil, she wants to see her family heal its internal divisions and come together for one last Christmas. But some tricky emotional wounds need to be soothed over before that can happen.

Goodbye June is streaming on Netflix.

‘Jay Kelly’ (2025)

Jay Kelly received a brief theatrical run last year to promote George Clooney‘s performance as the title character to Oscar voters. Although there were no Oscar nominations for this film, it’s one of Clooney’s most layered performances. Jay Kelly shares some similarities with Clooney in terms of stardom, but his fame came at a price. His former friend, Timothy Galligan (Billy Crudup), hates him, and even Jay’s family doesn’t want much to do with him.

3 Overlooked 2025 Movies to Watch in February 2026 — Including 1 “Masterpiece”

In an impulsive move, Jay heads to Europe to accept an award, but also to reconcile with his daughters, Jessica (Riley Keough) and Daisy (Grace Edwards). Jay even gets a chance to improve his relationship with his emotionally distant father, Mr. Kelly (Stacy Keach). All the while, Jay’s friend and manager, Ron Sukenick (Adam Sandler), finds his dedication to his client tested by Jay’s selfish nature.

Jay Kelly is streaming on Netflix.

‘The Big Fake’ (2025)

The time period of The Big Fake may not mean much to American audiences, but the 70s were a period of upheaval in Italy, which included politically inspired violence. That’s the backdrop for this story of three brothers: Toni (Pietro Castellitto), Fabione (Pierluigi Gigante) and Don Vittorio (Andrea Arcangeli).

Fabione is a man who becomes aligned with radical terrorists, while Don Vittorio has become a priest. However, their stories take a backseat to their brother’s, as Toni’s gift for art makes him well-known in the criminal underworld. Over time, Toni’s talent is put to use forging paintings and government IDs. But the longer Toni stays in the orbit of powerful criminals, the more likely he is to be unable to escape their grasp short of his death.

The Big Fake is streaming on Netflix.
